Why did the cow cross the river? To mooove to the udder side!

Essex and Suffolk Rivers Trust have broken ground on the creation of a new livestock crossing on the River Alde in Bruisyard.

The new crossing, delivered in partnership with Dennington Hall Farms and the Environment Agency, has been installed to reduce livestock impacts to the upper reaches of the River Alde. It will help to reduce sediment run-off, prevent disturbance of the riverbed, and protect the riverbanks and wildlife corridors on this section of the watercourse.
